Symposium
Our Institute will periodically organize a themed symposium around a particular topic of interest to GERI researchers. Our symposiums are developed to provide for an openly discursive examination of the topic at hand. We may invite colleagues to make brief presentations of their research, but our focus is to allow an in depth discussion of the symposium’s theme or topic. Typically, these discussions may be organized around a scientific panel discussion, roundtable discussions, and/or workshops. At times, the GERI program committee may invite keynote speakers to kick-off the symposium. These venues provide our researchers with an environment conducive to the exchange ideas that ultimately result in our successful research endeavors.
