Biostatistics

A biostatistics team is available to assists clinical, epidemiologic, and basic science investigators, that are members of our institute. Consultations are available to help investigators with both their study design and subsequent data analysis. They are also available to assist members in the linkage of their projects to other clinical, epidemiologic and laboratory data sources. Appointments may be made online.

Consultants

  • Christine E. McLaren, Ph.D.; Department of Epidemiology. Area of expertise: Finite mixture models, epidemiology, population screening, clinical trials, translational oncology, colon cancer prevention, oncoimaging and spectroscopy.
  • Kathryn E. Osann, Ph.D., MPH; Departments of Medicine/Pediatrics. Area of expertise: Survival analysis, epidemiology, gynecologic oncology, lung cancer, oral cancer, ovarian and cervical cancer, chemoprevention, quality-of-life outcome analysis.
  • Thomas Taylor, Ph.D.; Department of Epidemiology. Area of expertise: Epidemiological studies, cancer control, estimation of cancer incidence/mortality, surrogate end-point biomarkers, oral cancer, lymphoma, breast and ovarian cancers.
